During this election process, EACS opted for a single transferable vote (STV) system to ensure proportional representation for its elections. Please note that the STV system was not applicable in region 5, Rest of World (RoW), as we only had 2 candidates for 2 seats. This is due to the low membership in this region when we initiated the election process. Voting members from the RoW therefore had the option to approve or disapprove their candidates.
